How can I join the Tri-City Ecology Center?
Anyone is welcome to join. Please complete our membership application.
How can the TCEC help my child’s classroom?
TCEC focuses on schools with our outreach programs, including youth eco-grants. If you are a parent or teacher interested in providing ecological education to your child (or your child’s classroom), please contact us.
Can I get credit for my high school service hours requirement by volunteering with the TCEC?
Yes, some volunteer activities with TCEC may qualify for your service hours. Requirements differ by school, so please contact us to discuss your volunteer interests. We will work with all students to find activities that meet their goals, both personal and educational.
Can I attend a TCEC board meeting to discuss project or activity ideas?
The TCEC board meets on the first Thursday of each month at the Fremont Community Activities Center, 3375 Country Drive. We meet in the main Meeting Room, starting at 7:45 pm. Members are welcome to attend meetings, but please contact us to verify first, in case any meeting details have changed. Non-members are also welcome to attend, provided they call or email first to be certain their interest is on the meeting agenda.
